We are honoring Earth Day today and everyday, that is what we strive to do! As part of this commitment last year we recycled 50,000 lbs of old doors, operators and used steel. As you can imagince we also have lots of products that arrive in cardboard. Our hope is to repurpose as much as possible and the remainder is recycled. Last year we recycled 4000 lbs of cardboard related to our jobs. Our office team is contributing to our goals too. The administrative tasks, scheduling and dispatch are paperless which is why we send invoices, estimates and receipts digitally. We also repurpose equipment, parts and other products when possible. Used operators that still have life left in them are donated to charity and organization for those in need like Habitat For Humanity. Lastly, we do our best to use environmentally friendly products. Our techs carry an excellent lubricating spray for garage door servicing and tune ups that is an eco-friendly product.
